    Penelope Featherington starts the new social season with a mission: To make Eloise Bridgerton forgive her for lying to her for literal years. This will not be helped by the fact that she has to bring back Lady Whistledown for good to secure her family's dire financial situation, but she still has to try. Eloise is her best friend after all!

    Colin Bridgerton also has a mission: To make Penelope Featherington forgive him for telling the whole world she isn't marriage material.
