    Mori makes a little sound that’s supposed to be a hum but sounds almost like a pained groan. “Begging isn’t in my job description,” He says drily.

    “Isn’t it?” Mori has certainly begged before, but Dazai doesn’t have to say that. They both know it.

    For a minute, Mori looks like he’s going to protest further, but instead, he sighs, lips tucking up into an obliging grin. “Please, Dazai-kun. Get up. We have to get you ready.”

    He says it so softly that it almost makes Dazai believe that’s really what he wants, like he’s really so imploring that Dazai do as he says. They both know he’s enjoying this, enjoys when Dazai whines and kicks and calls him names, so Dazai just shrugs. “No. I don’t think I will.”
