Summary
Any scholar worth their salt would be more than enthusiastic about being able to get their hands on centuries worth of previously thought to be undocumented history and truth- Even Kaveh is hopeful he’ll be considered eligible enough for the opportunity to see the Temple of Silence with his very own eyes, though he wouldn’t be upset if a younger Kshahrewar scholar with more fire in the game got the opportunity instead. He might be the Light of Kshahrewar, but he’s hardly greedy or selfish; if someone else gets the opportunity, he’s sure they’ll without a doubt deserve it.
So to say the very least, yes, Kaveh completely understands why a Haravatat scholar- even one such as Alhaitham- would be more than a little enthusiastic about being able to see the Temple of Silence as well.
... And regardless of what happens with the Temple, Kaveh is just relieved that things have relatively gone back to normal.
Or; Alhaitham finds out exactly how much untapped potential there is to the Temple of Silence's archives, and proceeds to be insufferable about it. Kaveh copes with this ordeal about as well as you would expect him to. That is to say, not at all. Your honor, please cut this man some due slack.

Summary
After a failed assassination attempt leaves a banker in Zandik’s care, he discovers that “professional interest” becomes significantly harder to maintain when the patient is beautiful, philosophically radical, and keeps touching his face under anaesthesia.
Or, after being betrayed and sold off, Feofan ends up in Zandik’s laboratory, where hatred of the gods proves to be an unexpectedly intimate thing to have in common.

Summary
These two have stolen my every thought and spot as favorite ship. I have always liked them but now I am obsessed. As for the name of his fic: mehr (also spelled mahr) is an Islamic concept, it is a mandatory gift or payment from the groom to the bride specified in the marriage contract, and it belongs entirely and irrevocably to her. It is a religious and legal requirement in Islamic marriage. it is practiced in Arab, Persian, South Asian, and Central Asian Muslim communities.
Rated E. You've been warned.
"How long," Feofan said.
"Two hundred and seventeen years," Zandik said. "Give or take."
Feofan looked at the henna book, open on the table. At the ribbon marking a specific page.
"And the pattern," he said.
"One hundred and forty."
Feofan closed his eyes. Behind his eyelids the room glowed amber. The smoke from the hookah moved through the warm air and settled around him like something that had been waiting a very long time to do exactly this.
"You are," he said, very carefully, "the most deranged man who has ever lived."
"Yes," Zandik said.

Summary
There was a girl back in the Akademiya. Odd, that she was so integral to his expulsion, and yet Zandik could not remember her name. He barely remembered her face. He remembered what she looked like when he cut her open at the picnic – the horror so fleeting, how her mouth slanted and froze there, like it intended to slide off her face. She’d thought he was handsome and interesting. He hadn’t cared if she thought he was the ugliest creature Irimsul ever recorded, truthfully. He just wanted to know what it looked like to see someone’s insides, how long it took for them to cool from the unyielding grip of death.
He cared if this stranger thought he was handsome.
“Do you trust me, Veksel?” He asked at last.
And Feofan smiled at him, glitter in those spellbinding eyes. “Not even slightly.”

Zandik is not certain he loves. But he is certain he knows what he wants -- and what all versions of him have in common.

Summary
It's subtle at first. His shorter temper, leaving his food untouched, following her around. Everybody else writes it off as him being him, but something is clearly wrong.
Then he bursts into her room, shaking and drenched in sweat. He looks desperate and terrified.
“P-Pomni, I…” He lifts a hand to curl loosely over his chest where his heart must be trying to break his ribs. His voice rattles out of him, brittle with emotion. “I’m in heat.”
Her stomach drops through the floor.
