There was barely any pause before Vi opened her mouth. She could hear part of her brain screaming 'no, stop, bad idea, shut the fuck up dipshit' but she ignored it like she always had.
"You don't have to. You know- hire a stranger."
Caitlyn looked at her quizzically. Am I really about to say this?
"I can be your blood bag, if you want."

Not the curse it once was- by the 21st century, vampirism had mutated into an inconvenient infection.
Due to their hunger being volatile and, if unsated, potentially fatal for the infected, vampires usually hired a professional "blood bag" to be by their side 24/7 during the months- sometimes years- it took for the illness to pass.
So when Caitlyn catches it, Vi doesn't hesitate to take up the role. Anything to help her best friend until she recovers.

Since Vi is so comfortable around Viktor she drove over in what she slept in (with added pants for decency) and didn’t worry about fixing her horrible bead head and smeared eyeliner from the night before. Even she had to admit this was not her hottest look. Vi finally decides to entertain this girl before she either hate crimes her or calls the cops on her, whichever comes first.

As Vi exits class, disappointed yet again, she glances over at many students walking past. Vi could feel her skin crawl. Were they staring at her? Did she have something on her face? Was her uniform creased? Was something wrong with her hair? Suddenly she feels a force in front of her. She snaps out of her daze, only to find some girl picking up papers from the floor.
VI instantly drops to her knees, helping pick up the papers. "I'm sorry, I'm really sorry" she mutters. She glances up at the girl and is met with dark blue eyes. She instantly glances away. Those were some drop dead gorgeous eyes.

Summary
Caitlyn is a top student, cheerleader, and athletic captain at Piltover Prep, an elite private school. Vi plays soccer at Zaun Public High School, Piltover's rival school.
Recent defunding of public schools in the area leads to the closing of Zaun HS, leaving an entire school of students without an education. Until the issue is resolved, the city council decides that ZHS will merge with Piltover Prep for the year.
Tensions are high as students are mixed into this new environment, and even higher on the newly reformed sports teams, forced to learn how to work together after years of rivalry.
Vi, to her own misfortune, manages to piss off Queen Bee Caitlyn Kiraman on the first day of school, making an enemy of the girl who controls her life in school sports.
She just made her life a whole lot harder...loosely inspired by the valentine’s day splash art (like really, really loosely)
