The teal butterfly, Flyte, stood in the walkway between the elevators and the hall of shops for just a moment, as though he were looking for someone. At the same time, the purple insect looked up from her notebook in an attempt to take in where all the new toons had gravitated to. She instinctively waved a wing at Flyte in greeting, before stopping. One could hear the gears turning in her head as she processed who he was, the fact that he was right there, and why she hadn’t seen him sooner.

A continuation of my other fanfic "To Pause Time With You."
Though contempt with the safety of France, Joseph and Aesop feel an urge to get out and see the world. While Aesop searches for closure from both the Manor and the old town that shunned the lovers, Joseph struggles on progressing their relationship to the next stage. Stepping back into their past, they undo the wrongs that haunt their mind and redefine their memories.

Summary
The leaves from the surrounding trees were weightlessly fluttering and creating an array of reds, oranges, and purples that were slowly descending to the ground. Overhead they could see flocks of all sorts of birds starting their migration and only when seeing the birds did they finally hear the symphony of chirps and caws that they created. Ahead of them was a small river stream; the water being split by a few rocks that seemed to make the perfect stepping stones to the apple tree on the other side.
It was breathtaking. Even the apples looked perfect.
