“What’s going on?”
Scott made a strange, whiny noise at the back of his throat that made him sound a little like a kicked puppy. “Your scent.” He pulled on Stiles’s hoodie until their noses were practically touching.
“Scott, buddy, you’re going to have to be more specific.” Stiles rubbed a circle on the back of Scott’s hand with his thumb. “You know I don’t have werewolf senses.”
“You smell like… like…” Scott fumbled for words, his brow furrowed deeply. His eyes started to look a little wet, and that was something Stiles could not deal with.
“Hey, hey, it’s okay. I’m okay. Just tell me what’s wrong and we’ll fix it. I’ll—I dunno—shower really good, I promise.”
“You smell like something claimed you,” Scott finally said in a horrified whisper.

He was in the midst of adjusting to a significant life change—Billy had fallen in love with Vera Mallory. Instead of moving in with the Blacks, Jake had to leave his childhood home and move into a mansion with his snobby step-siblings.
Once he turned eighteen, he started to show signs of accepting Omega as his secondary gender. Just like the rest of his life, his Omega symptoms were extreme, and his heats were excruciating. An unfortunate Jacob Black wakes up in Forks with a new body, a hostile and micro-managing narrator, and zero understanding of Twilight’s plot - except for the dear old fandom wars between Twilight and HP, which... is not enough to go off by. Now, the System wants him to behave. He wants to quit. It takes a huge piece of bribery to convince him to stay.
Meanwhile, other Fork residents are going crazy over him: Edward can’t read his mind and it's driving him mad, Seth accidentally imprints on him, Bella has a crush on him and sees Edward as competition, the Cullen siblings sort of adopt him, and Leah, Quil and Embry want to keep him as far away from Edward as possible.
There will be courtroom battles. There will be actual battles. There will be canines and fangs.
But most importantly, we get to watch Edward suffer.
