Summary
When Endeavour realises Hawks’ constant flirting is actually genuine interest, he knows he has to put his foot down. He can’t allow it to continue unchecked. Endeavour isn’t gay. Endeavour is far too old for Hawks. And Endeavour is certainly not interested. But nothing could’ve prepared Enji for how crushed Hawks was after the rejection, and suddenly, Enji has a lot to question about himself.
Or: Enji doesn’t stop to think that Hawks is actually pretty hot until after he broke the guys heart and sets out to fix it, while also going through a minor gay panic.
