Summary
Yamaguchi swore it was casual—just late-night calls, too-familiar dinners with Tsukishima’s family, and being shoved against bathroom doors between matches. But “casual” starts to feel like a lie when his favorite hoodie lives in Kei’s dresser and Akiteru calls him like a brother.
He told himself scraps were enough. Until they weren’t.

"Disgusting." He muttered
The cherry blossoms flick through the wind softly as Yamaguchi's face falls. A once lovely confession of love, now turned sour.
"What did you say?" He asks softly
"I said do not talk to me" The blond boy said harshly
"But-" The freckled boy started, but it was too late. Tsukishima had already begun walking away. Yamaguchi fell towards the ground, collapsing on himself. Of course, he thought, of course he would think I am disgusting, why did I ever believe he would think otherwise?
Everything was already in motion. Yamaguchi knew what he had to do, and no one was going to stop him.
