Too bad our idols are rarely who we make them out to be.
Peter Parker's parents are far from the picture perfect duo that they had lead everyone to believe. It may have been 8 years since their disappearance from his life, but it doesn't stop from the truth from slowly unraveling itself from the delicate lie it had been spun into.
It may actually be a good thing Deadpool has decided to stick around and annoy him.

If only that were his only problem.
But Weapon X is at it again, under crisp new management, turning orphans into super slaves and bringing out the big guns to make sure nobody interferes this go around (namely one Pool comma Dead). So now, not only is Wade alone and ugly forever, but he's got a bit of a pest problem in the form of a black-clad murder-happy man spider with a collar around his neck and an unhealthy obsession with tying Deadpool up.
So maybe it's not all bad...

Summary
On a corner not too far from Empire State University, there is a little bookstore cafe called ‘caramel’. Peter has worked there for almost a year while he studies towards his degree, and he has his regular customers that he sees almost every day. He wouldn’t say he has a favourite, but a blue-eyed Canadian man who comes in one slow Tuesday morning and calls him ‘baby boy’ might just top them all. It does help that he’s probably the hottest guy Peter has ever seen, and insists on flirting outrageously with Peter, even as Peter stutters and falls over his own words.

Summary
A new school; a daunting place. Befriending Peter, Ned, and MJ is all she needs to feel welcome despite the awkward, initial meeting with said Peter Parker. But as the year progresses, and Reader is left with a somewhat poorly timed love confession, tension builds as Peter grows cold, blunt and ultimately confusing. When Peter starts disappearing more often than not, disappointing an ever-growing bewildered Reader, and appearing before Reader with unexpected injuries, Reader finds her relationship with the boy strained. Spider-Man seems to be the only one who knows how to help. After one, final, intense argument at the Reader's birthday party, and under conflicting circumstances, the two are forced to work out their issues. Within these issues, new feelings are discovered and discussed. Could they, perhaps, lead to something that means more than just friends?
