Sometimes, all it takes to break a petty rivalry is a week working together and a bit of forced proximity. Or: Yeonjun and Soobin hate each other after a catastrophic year working together in University. Will giving it another go as adults break the ice? Spoiler alert: Yes. Yes it will.

“Choi Yeonjun is not your family,” Beomgyu points out.
“And he is certainly not your friend,” Taehyun adds.
They’re not wrong. Choi Yeonjun is his rival, their enemyhood forged through hours of forced proximity in the cognitive testing labs of their university doing shared data collection for their dissertation. It was awful and evil and they will hate each other forever.
“What happened to ‘working with him makes me want to set the lab on fire and go to prison just to escape him’, hm?” Beomgyu continues. “That’s a direct quote, by the way.”
