Jack Abbot— no, Doctor Jack Abbot is charming. He’s direct, but not insensitive. He’s realistic, but not depressing. Finding that balance there, somewhere between confident and efficient, that was where he filled in. That translated eventually to reassuring residents, offering them advice in a way that wasn’t harsh, like Robby, but helpful. Constructive. That translated to mildly flirty conversations with Myrna, handing off a lighter to Dana in the smoking area, patting Robby on the back after a long day (or night, depending on the shift).
And apparently, being a gentleman translated to completely ignoring his crush on Samira Mohan.

Ch 1- basically Jack is head over heels and he gets a day shift. Samira asks what he's doing on his upcoming days off, he talks about his car, she mentions that hers hasn't started I a while. He offers to help (😏😏😏)
Ch 2- he brought her mushroom (how did you know, I heard you speak about it one time in your life the truth is Dr Mohan im in love with you)
..anyways
They talk about their traumas; Jack about his late wife Dawn and Samira about her late father who was misdiagnosed

Ch 3- ABBOT IN A WIFEBEATER YEAHHH🤤
he fixes her car and looks hot as he'll doing it. My poor girl Samira is genuinely salivating as its happening as well 😭. He convinced her (kind of) to help out with the car but she just watched and drooled. She later corrected him on his pronunciation of her last name Mohan. He decides he'll call her Samira. She likes that👅
She asks if she can call him Jack he says sure bc his friends call him that. She does so flirtatiously. They almost kiss. She drops a wrench and they snap out of it. He's like "yo i gotta go😭✌️" and she's like FRICK WHY DID I THINK HE WAS GONNA KISS ME HES MY ATTENDING

Ch 4- apparently I just didnt care for this one
Ch 5- something about a procedure and then this is where Samira asks Jack out to dinner (breakfast) as a thank you for everything.... eish
Ch 6- okay so this one's kinda a filler. Jack just acts kinda stupid, Ellis tells Samira that she'll have to make the first move and then yeah.. they go to the diner
Ch 7- they're having breakfast, thats it🧍🏽♀️ LIKE SPEED IT UP GANG. I found it cute tho how Jack was looking for vegetarian options for her and also when she called out that he ordered a gazillion things he went "im a growing boy" AWWW
Okay now we're getting to the sad part
Ch 8- awwww jack:( so ch 7 ends with samira asking him if he's dating anyone, he comically chokes on his drink then they talk about all that jazz uguthi Jack's only friend is Edie, his therapist. Then Samira finds out thats he's bi but he doesn't wanna talk about it, she admits that she is too, it was a little weird bc he viewed as him coming out to his resident😭
Then the ptsd episode happens
Ch 9- okay Samira is genuinely the goat bro she handles and calms Jack down sooo well it was really satisfying to watch especially because this ptsd thing hit me kinda hard the first time I read it (reddit lol) because it made me feel terrible for war vets who don't get treated with the respect they deserve so they don't have access to therapy and all that like I feel bad like its my doing💔
But anyway when he finally comes down to earth he's extremely apologetic and Samira doesn't wanna hear one bit of it
OH!! I forgot to mention that when the shift before the breakfast was about to end, Ellis told Samira that she needs to make the first move bc Jack wont -
