Summary

When the opportunity for a joint mission with your sullen brother presents itself, you make the arrangements before thinking twice. The job was routine; investigate and repair a malfunctioning mako reactor in the boonies, and verify claims of mutated wildlife. With any luck, the assignment would prove to be a simple matter, and leave the two of you some time to sightsee. Even if Nibelheim was an utter bore, you were content just to spend time together.

Getting Shane to open up and let Ilya shower him in affection seems to be more difficult than expected.
It isn't until a spark sets off a catalyst of events in the Russian Palace that change their relationship forever.
