the first time it happened, it wasn’t like manon did anything crazy. all she did was open a beer bottle that she had been struggling to open. but, in sophia’s defence, the way that manon’s canine hooked underneath the cap, eyes on her as she popped it open with a hiss for some stupid odd reason made something curl and fester in her stomach.
