Summary
Over the clanking of trunks being loaded on trolleys and the cacophonous babbling of children greeting parents, two brothers sat silently in a quickly-emptying train. The younger one was terrified, knew that the only thing waiting for himself and his brother was disaster. He held onto his brother’s sleeve with a white-knuckle grip, chewing on the inside of his lips until he tasted blood. The older had spent the ride pretending he was fine, that his life at school was as he liked it and that his life at home was something better than hell. The only thing that grounded him was the sound of his baby brother’s shallow breaths and the knowledge that he was still alive to take them. He intended to make sure his brother stayed breathing for however long he damn-well chose to, even if he had to buy that freedom with his own life.
“Do you remember the plan?” the older asked.
“Yes,” the younger nodded.

But Andromeda’s secret smirk and Alphard’s cheeky winks behind their mother's back and even Narcissa when she put away the polished perfection long enough to smile at her baby cousins, all flashed like a film reel in Regulus’ mind and banished the thought as soon as it flitted by. Summary
Vasilissa Dragomir was good at many things. She was good at healing the injured. She was good at pretending to tolerate the majority of the Courtiers she’s surrounded with more often than she would like. She was exceptionally good at pretending she didn’t miss her best friend like she’d miss a limb, and was happy to spit insults about the girl she felt betrayed her when she ran away from their world.
But, it would seem, that Lissa had a limit to how low she was willing to stoop in order to hang onto that particular grudge. Turns out the systematic slaughter of literal children was her hard limit. Who would’ve guessed?
OR: The Council ruled to lower the graduation age for all Dhampir and Lissa now has to swallow the bitter pill of asking her ex best friend for help.

This man is the furthest thing from a prince – shirt half unbuttoned, hair unruly, scar across his face – but Sirius finds himself believing in love at first sight anyway.

glad to know someone else was crazy pissed off and protective of Clarke as me, when watching that season of the 100. read it then, loved it. reread it now, and I still love it. finally figured out that I like bookmarking shit, so gonna do that now. staying subbed to this series forever, in an attempt to will another fic from the author through obstinance and spite.

It isn’t even about the fall. Every other time, she knew she would be caught, whether by a web or by Peter himself. Something would be there for her, a line of the thinnest, strongest material on earth, but not this time.
The fall starts in a clock tower.
Of that, Gwen is positive.
One minute, she’s attached to the web, then the line gets cut in the clock’s turning gear, and she drops quickly. The walls around her start to shimmer with a golden glow. Spiderman, reaching out desperately for her, disappears from view.Above her, the sky that was dark ten seconds ago is now a brilliant blue.
