“He’s clutching that joint and texting like his third baby mama is demanding maintenance,” Hyunjin settled himself between his boyfriend's legs.
“Leave the kid alone,” Chan laughed. “I’m sure Minho knows to always wrap it up by now.”
“What’s that one Lil’ Wayne bar?” Hyunjin giggled. “Safe sex is great sex?”
“Better wear a latex,” Changbin added.
“Cos you don’t want that late text, that “I think I’m late” text,” Chan finished and the three burst into laughter.
Minho’s palms were so sweaty his joint unraveled because of the moisture.

Jisung shrugs, all too casual. “Just for fun. You know, for the bit.”
“You want us to pretend to be a couple…in therapy. Just for fun.”
“Yeah!” Jisung nods enthusiastically. "Just until the therapist figures it out.”
Minho gives him a long, slow look that suggests he is currently measuring him for a straitjacket. “So. Two sessions, max.”
It’s supposed to be a joke– two best friends and roommates walk into a therapist’s office, and pretend they’re a couple until the therapist figures it out.
But old feelings die harder than old habits, and when everything they’ve been avoiding for five years finally catches up, Minho and Jisung start to realize they may not be pretending as much as they'd like to believe.

Summary
It’s been a long time since Minho has met anyone new. Since he’s had to get to know someone. He doesn’t remember how to make small talk—but, honestly, considering Jisung was teasing him about getting stroked off by Seungmin earlier, haven’t they blown right past small talk? Minho opens his mouth to ask Jisung something, but before whatever inane question he still hasn’t decided on can start to form, Jisung beats him to it: “If you could go anywhere tonight, where would you go?”
“I thought you were just taking me to your place.”
“I’m a total fucking stranger, man. I could be taking you anywhere. To kill you.”
“You’re not a stranger,” Minho points out placidly, shrugging. “I know your middle name.”

Hyunjin is silent. Then, “Oh Christ, another one of their stupid contests.”

Best friends Jisung and Minho have always had a knack for turning everything into a competition—who can shower faster, who can eat more, who can sooner find a meaningless hookup at a party. It’s when they overstep (or, in Jisung’s case, trip over) the boundary between being friends and more that Jisung finds he cares far less about losing their little games than he does about losing Minho.
