Summary
It has been almost a year since the fall of the last Evanuris and Solas stepped beyond the Veil.
The new First Talon of the Antivan Crows is backsliding at an alarming rate, his demon skulks the halls at night in search of someone who is not there, his cousin has somehow found himself in charge of trying to keep everything from falling apart, and Rook...
Rook has vanished. Gone now for almost 6 months.
When an unusual contract arrives for House Dellamorte that will take them to Nevarra and amongst the ranks of their high society for the social season, it is accepted as an opportunity for a simple job and to get away from it all. And, perhaps, to keep looking for a lost love. Neither cousin expects to actually find Rook there in the company of a reclusive noble family, a mysterious forest that feels too alive, and an ancestral castle with more secrets that there are stones in its foundation. And the longer they stay, the more they come to realize that something is terribly wrong.
There are whispers in the night, and eyes in the forest, and something unholy is stirring in Nevarra.
(Title inspired by the poem by Graham Foust)

Summary
Before she was the Veilguard’s infamous ‘Rook’ de Riva, she had just been ‘Rookie’—to Viago at least—the name always huffed in a rather annoyed and exasperated tone. It is in his House de Riva that she finds a family; in the Lighthouse that she finds companionship; and in the darkest corner of the pantry, that Rook finds love.
---
Rookie is on a fast-tracked journey to change the world, but she'll do it her way, one Crow at a time—starting with her surly guildmaster. Through every trial, their inexplicable bonds are tested time and time again, and challenges the heart of what it means to be a Crow.
Canon-divergent. Covers both pre-Veilguard events and in-game storylines. Crow-centric, with (un)healthy helpings of Viago de Riva.

Summary
"It stings bittersweet; Emmrich is attuned to the living and the dead, he is trained in the art of death and understands the soul whether alive or passed beyond. He could push the boundaries of medicine and transform death into life, if he pleased. With a snap of his fingers, or a wave of his hand, she is aware her flesh could be a mere vessel of opportunity to undo with science and dark magic."
Thea falls into a pool of Blight. Without a definitive cure, Emmrich risks everything to save her.
