Summary
Victor Frankenstein, a pious surgeon and scientist of the century, had failed to make his "Creature" due the given deadline, and his founder, Henrich Harlander, had abandoned him. All seemed lost; his interest in life itself had gone in vain, as his love, Elizabeth Harlander, had married his younger brother William, and fatigue consumed him.
It is said: life is full of surprises, and as Victor is searching for ideas of improving his “Creature”, he comes across medical articles, written by a mysterious woman of similar brilliance. His innocent interest soon flourishes into undying obsession and he feels as if it is swallowing his entire purpose. Victor knows: if he wishes to court the woman, he must prove himself to be the greatest man she has ever encountered.
However, is this pathological obsession a pure accident of fate, or perhaps a divine design of God, executed by his messenger—Archangel Michael? -

The gentle Steven Grant had never been on a date before. The given fact changed, when a charming woman visited the museum after opening the exhibition of Ancient Egypt. She came by the gift shop, in hopes of finding a little souvenir, and couldn’t help but offer the handsome clerk a date.
However, something wasn’t quite right with Steven’s date. She was oddly pale, sickly, but the magnetic charm, undeniable beauty, and expressed interest in his fascination with history, compelled him to accept her offer.
But why do her eyes seem hungry, starving, as if they belonged to a beast, not a woman?
Hopefully, she won’t eat him alive; hopefully, her fine taste will enjoy what he could offer.

“Speak?” William almost felt faint.

“Request?” William felt fainter. Then stupidly, “Victor is not usually so good with those.”
Why was he STILL joking with it?!
It didn’t respond and, shuddering, William forced himself to breathe. It was time to negotiate, then. And that he could do.

Adam Frankenstein, having said goodbye to his father forever, is on a journey back to Europe on foot to see Vienna and visit the grave of his Elizabeth. He has to cross the frigid land of Russia and the treacherous peaks of the Carpathian mountains, which brings him into contact with a mysterious and ancient royal. Too polite to refuse his hospitality and too exhausted to fight, he makes use of the connection as best he can.
