this was everything, seriously. I'm crying right now. I'm envious of the characters, for having a sense of belonging that I'm missing at the minute. I'm envious that, despite their pain, they can make it out the other side better, which I can't do now. and mostly, I just love this fic. it doesn't have to be complicated.
