Rhaenyra breathes hard at the proximity. Steps even closer. She does not know why, but she wants to. Craves it. Her usual stony restraint and goading spitefulness when dealing with a furious, self-righteous Queen Alicent having slipped away, leaving only the gnawing want underneath. A feeling that she has rarely acknowledged over these last years though it has been there all along. She feels its force course through her fiercely, unchallenged for the first time in a long time.
“You still wish to reconcile with me?” Rhaenyra whispers in astonishment.
Alicent squeezes her eyes shut, exhales shakily, but she does not move away.
“That is not- do you not see- Oh, Seven Hells.” Alicent lets out a groan of vexation and then lurches forward capturing Rhaenyra’s lips in a bruising kiss.

Summary
Alicent drinks in the sight in front of her. A woman she’s never seen before bathes in the river—a peculiar woman at that. Alicent wouldn’t have pegged her as a woman at first sight if not for the swell of her breasts peeking above the river water. The stranger has hair shorn to her shoulders, a white blonde that shines beneath the July sun. What Alicent can see of her back is lined with strong muscle, much more defined than the light muscle Alicent builds up working around town—muscle of someone who has seen more than a little town like this. The sunlight glints on a scar down her back, a jagged gash that puckers pink against fair skin. Something stirs deep within Alicent. Who is this and what is she doing in Oldtown? Someone with scars like that can only bring trouble.
The outlaw Rhaenyra Targaryen rides through Oldtown on a sunny July morning, disrupting everything the sheriff's daughter, Alicent Hightower, thought she knew.

Summary
Somehow, it’s different when it comes to Alicent. Everything is way more difficult when it comes to Alicent. Rhaenyra doesn’t want to be the first one to give in. That’s too typical, painfully to-the-point and not quite like the beloved calculated games they have been playing for years. She wants Alicent to teeter over and over again, and finally fold.
Rhaenyra decided it. She’s going to make Alicent think of her all the time. She wants to drive that woman insane. By the time the month ends, Alicent won’t be able to want anything more than her. She is going to kneel at her feet.
(Or; where all Rhaenyra wants is for Alicent to confess her feelings for her, and maybe fuck her along the way. She just needs to give Alicent a little push to make it happen.)
