Summary
What if he's written 'mine' on my upper thigh only in my mind?
Lee Donghyuck and Mark Lee are the picture-perfect altar servers at St. Jude’s Catholic Church. They know the liturgy by heart, they lead the youth group, and they are completely inseparable. But behind the pristine white robes and the incense, Donghyuck is suffocating under the weight of a secret he is convinced will damn him: he is hopelessly in love with his best friend.
Terrified of his own heart and the harsh doctrines of his parish, Donghyuck tries to quarantine himself. He hides behind a brutal finals month, buries himself in biology textbooks, and even attempts a counterfeit date with a girl from his Self and Society class to cure his "infection."
But Mark refuses to let him run. From the suffocating silence of the confessional to an explosive confrontation at the summer campfire, they are forced to face the boundaries of their faith. When their secret is finally dragged into the light, Donghyuck and Mark must decide whether to bow to the judgment of the church, or walk away and prove that the greatest commandment of all isn't about fear—it's about love.
