Summary
Hawks should never have had any pack (or should he say flock?) cravings.
That’s only natural because Keigo Takami has never experienced family or just belonging to a group of people that he could call that. He’s done some terrible things too, most recently to his friend, a companion of his alpha, so he’s on the right track to being a terrible father – as genetics would suggest as well. He always assumed he would never feel the need for something he couldn’t understand in the slightest.
And consciously, he didn’t.
So, in his defense, he never even thought he could lock a knot.

In which Hawks finally arrests Dabi, who promptly tries to talk his way out of his handcuffs and into Hawks' pants.

Hanahaki is, after all, a fairly obscure condition.
The circumstances needed for someone to be susceptible to the strange and mostly unexplained phenomenon is rather specific. The sort of environment someone has to have grown up in, to yearn so much for love that it makes the fabric of their very body mutate into something that slowly kills you? It's not something most people experience.

Hawks makes another face. “Where does one…file taxes?”

Actually, his problems start when he meets Takami at their first table read.
No, scrap that. His problems start the moment Takami is cast as Hawks. Past the spotlights, the costumes, the long hours, one thing’s for certain: Touya wants Takami in a way that’s bad for his health.

Keigo slams him up against the walls and if the room shakes, they'll blame it on an earthquake.
"You're an asshole."
Touya raises an eyebrow, silent challenge marked with the jut of his jaw–some power display that Touya pulls when he's in the mood to be a little bitch. "I’m the asshole? You’re one to talk. Who laughed all afternoon with that idiot?"
Keigo blinks. "That's your assistant, would it kill you to have some common courtesy?"
“Would it kill him to actually do half the work I send over right?”
Keigo rolls his eyes. "Get off your high horse, you started somewhere too."
"Yeah not at the fucking bottom, thank god. Didn't know stupid was your type."
Keigo laughs, loud and mean, the incredulity of that statement digging like the pain in the ass that Touya’s been all these months. Stupid, implied. “I dated you, didn't I? You're my stupid fucking type."
A year and some months, Keigo isn't the only one who still can't let it go. If they drag anyone else along with them, that's just foreplay.
