He practically threw himself at it, his hands trembling. The Time-Turner, a delicate, ornate thing with the words "Don't break this, Scorpius" engraved on the side, was shattered. The intricate hourglass was cracked, its sand spilled out onto the floor like a trail of liquid gold. The chain was snapped in two. It was worthless. And with it, now he is stuck in an unknown time.
