Summary
Regulus goes quiet for a moment, eyebrows knitting together. He worries his bottom lip between his teeth, the same way he used to when he was little, it makes Sirius’ heart ache. Because he knows what he’s asking of Regulus. Sirius knows what he’s doing. And he knows it’s going to hurt. But if they find this treasure, and they will, it will all be worth it. It has to be worth it.
“Sirius…” Regulus sighs, clearly trying to avoid eye contact. “There has to be another way.”
“Not with the time I’ve got left,” Sirius tells him, stepping back a little. “And certainly not with Riddle.”
