“You wouldn’t happen to have an extra payong, no?”
Mina shakes her head, lifting her hands. “Wala, eh. Hindi ko rin in-expect na uulan today.”
The girl, chuckling, looks back at the sky. “Of course, the one day na hindi ako nagdala ng payong.”
“Murphy’s Law, yeah?” Mina says with a smirk, folding her arms again. “If it can go wrong, it will.”
The girl laughs again, this time more relaxed. “Exactly. By the way, I’m Nayla,” she adds, reaching out her hand despite the rain still splattering around them.
Mina looks at Nayla’s outstretched hand, slightly wet from the rain, then shrugs, shaking it. “Mina…"
Or
Mina just wants to go home. But the world has other plans for her, specifically, a meet cute with a journalism major who just knows how to loosen her intestines only to tie them up in knots. She's seen these in films but nothing prepared her for the storm that's to come.

I'll come back to this bookmark comment once I've figure out how to adequately articulate how much I love this fic. Epilogue hasn't been posted as of the creation of this bookmark, but truly! I am healed. This work and this author has been so important in my own gender/sexuality journey and I'm not afraid to admit how personal it is for me.
But I'm also so deeply draw by the care of which our dear author writes. So much attention to detail and tenderness in the conversation and characterization. The sex is so hot. The sex is so hot because it is unafraid to confront and explore feeling, emotion, and hurt in the moment. Ang husay! Nakakakilig, nakakaiyak, nakakataba ng puso. I love being gay, guys
