    The Petrova Task Force saved Sol and Earth, but an organization never really goes away. Ryland Grace has a teaching job at a high school in New York two years after getting back to Earth. He misses Rocky, and his health still sucks. There are good reasons he didn't want to go to space.

    Grace learned his lesson, though, when Eva Stratt says, "jump," you ask, "how high?" She will get what she wants one way or another. So when she captures and tries to recruit Spider-Man (who is apparently his fifteen-year-old student) to the task force, he is going to help.

    Now, if Ryland can just ignore his history with Tony Stark, he should be able to get through this in one piece, even if some annoying feelings never went away.

    Ryland Grace, AP Biology teacher and Academic Decathlon supervisor of Midtown High, is hit with the news that he would have to fill in as student chaperone on a field trip to his alma mater, UC Berkeley.

    Halfway across the world, Colt Gentry Seavers calls his twin brother to tell him he was coming home.

    At the Compound, Tony Stark is put on (unnecessary) probation and now has a very familiar, very brooding shadow on his heels.

    And in the middle of it all, Peter Parker, is weirdly insistent on being on the field trip to UC Berkeley, and also weirdly against Grace being a student chaperone for it. Whatever that meant.

    Or: Grace is trying not to have an aneurysm as he has to deal with his weirdly-jittery student, two brothers who fake-died on him and never explained why, and a certain genius billionaire who decides that this was the perfect time to re-enter his life.

Taking matters into his own hands, Ryland decides to talk to who picks Peter up after school, and that person is none other than Tony Stark. The two seem to be more familiar with each other than previously let on, and now Peter has to deal with his mentor chasing after his teacher.

    Or: Ryland and Tony had hooked up in college, and seeing each other brought back those feelings they thought were buried down. With Ryland now in his reach, Tony makes it his mission to win him over.

    Peter's voice whittles down to a high pitched whistle, forgetting that he needs to breathe to continue creating more sound.

    After a few more agonizing seconds during which Peter weighs the possibilities that he just gave his mentor and the savior of the world a heart attack, Mr. Stark looks up at him, eyes suddenly wide.

    A beat passes.

    "What's your teacher's name again?"

    AKA, Ryland Grace and Tony Stark hooked up in college. This is fine, until 20 years later, Peter Parker gets involved. It's all downhill from there.
