Summary
There was a ghost in town, and Roy Harper knew it. He haunted the streets and the bars, walked in right before they closed, and stuck around until he was kicked out. He lingered on the edge of town, in cacti and wildness.
Nobody else seemed to notice him, and if they did, they didn't say anything about him. Roy himself never paid him too much mind, but he always silently took note of the shadow watching Star City.
That changed when the man himself waltzed into the bar the same night Roy had. He sat down one stool away from him at the bar, and he was wordlessly handed a glass full of something that smelled strong by the bartender.
Or, Roy and Jason go on a cattle drive together.

Summary
Jason got to work right on time and checked his calendar far too many. He couldn't shake the feeling that he had forgotten to do something.
The thing was, of course, dying. He was supposed to slip in the shower that morning. Notably, he did not. So, he went on oblivious to this.
He was typing away on his laptop, pretending to work, when he heard a little tapping noise on the door of his office. He ignored it, figuring he was hearing something from the other room.
It persisted. It was a very stubborn little sound.- Language:

Summary
"I'm not a damsel, Dana," Robby said. "No one is vying for my hand in marriage."
She scoffed. "I beg to differ. There are plenty of nice women around here who would love to marry their king."
And that was the problem really, the women part. Robby looked at Jack, who knew this better than anyone, considering the nature of their relationship.
"I'm sure there are," Robby hummed. "And I'm sure they'd love an old man like me for a lover."
"Robby, please. She doesn't even have to be nobility. Anyone. Anyone."
Robby looked at Jack. He put his hands up and shook his head. Well, there went Robby's chances for a loving marriage. Loveless it was.
A month later, a competition was hosted for Robby's hand in marriage. The challenge was simple, an archery contest, as it was Robby's favorite sport. It he had to marry a woman, she may as well enjoy what he did. -

Summary
"Hey," Jack said on the other line.
Robby smiled a little at the sound of his voice, turning his back at people waking out so they wouldn't see him cheesing. "Hey."
"I was wondering how long it would take for you to call."
"Ass. Where are you?"
"Home."
"Are you gonna keep being vague?"
Jack chuckled. "Phantom pain bullshit. Couldn't be fucked to put my leg on, so."
Robby scrunched his nose. Jack was so tough about everything, always putting on a brave face. Hearing him openly admit physical discomfort was a privilege reserved for Robby, and he did not take his responsibilities as holder of this information likely. -

Summary
“Stay, stay, please Robby, don't go, stay," he chanted over and over again the way Robby imagined he used to recite scripture in church. Robby thought that even the holiest of words could sound filthy in the mouth of Dennis Whitaker. And, Robby knew that Dennis didn't go to church anymore, but he could feel something divine radiating from him. That heavenly light begged him to stay, too.
"I have to go," Robby said into his lips. "If I don't go now, I'll never go."
"Don't go," Dennis whispered, tangling a hand in his hair. "If you go…"
His voice faded out of Robby's focus as he droned on in that sweet, delicate whisper. All Robby could feel was how his hands roamed all over him, and his lips formed words and kisses against Robby's with little care for which was which.
Robby sat up in bed, covered in sweat.
