Summary
“Come now, my dear Doctor,” he crooned, circling the lab table, “It’s just a networking ball. They offered a plus-one, I want you. Is that such a crime?” Dottore offered him nothing but a glower in return.
“Yes.” His answer is short, succinct.

Summary
Dottore should have known better than to let his mind slip with this one around. But he found it difficult to remain diligent during these little reunions. His emotions would often flare without warning, and swing haphazardly from one extreme to another. Perhaps he was letting his sentimentality get the better of him. What was the expression, again? Absence made the heart grow fonder?
Though perhaps “fondness” was not the right word.

Summary
“Do I?” Sethos hums. The urge to slap him across the head is stemmed by the fact that he is still very much bleeding all over the floor. “Oh, right. I mean, it’s not like I had time? And nobody does my hair like you, dear.”
“That’s not what I—” Scaramouche begins. Then his brain latches onto the last word like a leech, a broken record: dear. Dear. Dear, he said.
Has he ever called Scaramouche that before?
Or, the wanderer's relationship to terms of endearment.
