Hengyu applied for a job without telling Rowan because he was afraid of having nothing to stand on. Rowan found out and saw it as a betrayal, not because of the job itself, but because Hengyu still thought he had to earn his place. What started as an argument about work turned into something deeper—fear of being a burden, fear of being left, and two people who loved each other but did not know how to feel safe at the same time.

Summary
They always say that when people love, it gives a whole new experience and people go through different things that are positive or negative. Yet why does it seem to always end up in the same scenario? Miscommunication, cheating, betrayal, falling out of love, forgiveness, and one of the hardest are having too many unnecessary opinions from others.
Why does it always end up the same? Why does it feel like the more society grows, the more we realize that people do not value the true essence of what it means to love and be with a person, or what it means to think of growing old with this person?
“Is it my fault?”
“People change. Sadly, they don’t change for the best.”
“How do I even comprehend with that excuse?”
“You don’t. It’s one way to only make you believe and trust them again.”
“Why? Why do they keep trying to earn my trust when they do it again anyways?”
“They aren’t lonely enough.”
