Summary
“Betrothed” – the most hated word in the entirety of the English language. Since birth Lady Cordelia Rosella Pagius Tico also known as Rose to her friends and family knew that she was betrothed. The marriage contract was nothing personal to her or her intended. They never met in person because this arrangement was simply a business agreement between two lineages, the House of Arkanis and the House of Hays Minor.
So what was a girl to do but to come up with a plan to get to know her intended. It was supposed to be an innocent little adventure, to study her betrothed from a distance but fate had other plans for Rose Tico and Armitage Hux.
One thing led to another and the two found themselves in a different kind of business agreement of their own.
The story is centered around arranged marriage, hidden identity, Alpha/Omega relationships, a damaged hero, a kind heroine, heroine is a mistress, contract relationship, hero is a jerk, hero is not nice, modern a/b/o but with British peerage regency vibe, angst, hurt/comfort, eventual HEA.
