“We’re mates,” Yoongi says simply. “We’re married now, you put my coat around me. Now you’re my husband.”
“I -” Seokjin cuts himself off. He feels insane, all of this is insane. It doesn’t make sense, there’s no way Seokjin is suddenly married to a - a - seal? “That’s not how human marriage works,” Seokjin says finally, voice cracking a little. “You can’t just say we’re married.”
“Why not?” Yoongi does not seem deterred at all. “That doesn’t matter. Humans are stupid anyway. But you’re hot and you smell nice. You’ll be a good mate. With your broad shoulders, your swimming abilities must be admirable. And you can fish, a provider.” He nods, as if this is all settled. “So you’re my husband.”

In order to please his father and honour his family Hoseok is tasked to hunt down and kill The Tiger of Geochang - a dangerous vigilante that killed and betrayed members of their clan nearly 50 years ago.
In the far Western continent he encounters Kim Taehyung who is isolated within a small villa surrounded by dark, desolate lands and unwelcoming people. The young Count is eclectic and beautiful but is also terribly secretive, is shadowed by hooded servants, and is reluctant to leave the villa at daytime. He warns Hoseok to lock his bedroom door at night.

It’s always fun for Jeongguk to see if they scent him first or see him first; he has to tell himself that anyway, otherwise he feels like shit when a pretty omega spies him across the room, moves closer to interact with him, then catches a whiff of his scent and stutters through small talk like it doesn’t matter to them (it almost always does).
(Jeongguk may not look like an omega, and Hoseok may not look like your typical alpha, but they figure one thing out: it works between them.)
