Fourteen when Voldemort returned, fourteen when he cradled the body of a lifeless Cedric Digory, fourteen when he was deceived by Barty Crouch Jr. .Fifteen months old when Lily stepped in front of him, fifteen months old when he survived Voldemort, fifteen months old when he lost James and Lily.
And with all of this pain and fear and suffering, the least Sirius could do for him is provide him with a home he can fucking rest in.
Voldemort is back, Cedric is dead.

The door creaks open, just slightly. Enough for Henry to slip out and face him.
He looks… fine, almost as if nothing had happened.
