Summary
The darkspawn became a blight upon the lands. Unstoppable and relentless. The dwarven kingdoms were the first to fall, and from the Deep Roads, the darkspawn drove at us again and again until finally we neared annihilation… until the Grey Wardens came. Men and women from every race, warriors and mages, barbarians and kings, the Grey Wardens sacrificed everything to stem the tide of darkness.
We are few now. And our warnings have been ignored for too long.
But among those few, who is the brave man or woman the songs will remember as The Hero of Ferelden? Will it be someone emerging from the ever-present darkness of Orzammar’s underground scheming? Someone ripped away from their clan, their people, their life far away from human cities and beliefs? A mage freely breathing the fresh air outside the Circle Tower for the first time? A noble on a quest to avenge their family’s betrayal and death? Or one of those whom humans like to call knife-ear escaping a prize on their head?
Could it be that this title unites them all?
What can one Grey Warden do? Save the fucking world, if pressed.
And we are more than one.

Summary
“I can think of plenty of worse fates than being captured by a beautiful Grey Warden.”
She looked to where Alistair was bending to collect kindling. “He is very pretty, isn’t he?”
Zevran laughed. “My dear lady...I am not blind to your friend’s finer qualities, believe me. But when I speak of a beautiful Warden, I refer to you.”

Summary
During one of many investigations she carries out in her role as spymaster for the Inquisition, Leliana unexpectedly encounters a familiar face from a past so long ago that it is all but lost to her. As a faithful believer in both fate and divine intervention, she suddenly finds herself confronted with a rare second chance of learning the real story behind her earliest childhood memories and the mysterious circumstances of her mother's death.
But is truth indeed the salvation it promises to be? Or would it be a blessing if some truths remained veiled - even from the Lady of Whispers herself?

Summary
Inquisitor Evelyn Trevelyan, with a heart made of steel and ice, made decisions that shook the world. But she cared less for those nearest to her. She sacrificed the Chargers and left Blackwall to be hanged. She also told Commander Cullen Rutherford to resume taking lyrium, knowing that it was a death sentence.
Ellana Lavellan, once First to Clan Lavellan, had lost everything. Bandits had killed her clan and everything she knew about her heritage was now being questioned. Aimless and lifeless, she found a beggar suffering from lyrium madness on the streets of Val Chevin. On a whim she decided to help this beggar, even if it killed her.
But instead of death, Cullen and Ellana found a second chance.
