Ilya was confused and he was hurt. How had things gone so incredibly wrong? They were going so well, he made them food, he bought him ginger ale, he had had plans.
Then he’d left all because he called him by his stupid first name. Ilya shook his head softly, hurt. He stared down at the floor, confused and unsure what to do now. What was he supposed to do now?
I should go.
His stomach was twisted into knots and he felt hollow.
Empty.
Broken.
Lonely.
He sat there for a while, trying to see if he could use his mind to will time travel into existence or something so that he could go back and never say Shane.

“No, okay– George. Listen, okay? If you find someone to date you, I’ll give you a hundred bucks.”
“A hundred bucks?” George stops. “You’ll give me a hundred bucks?”
“Yeah. If you can get someone by…” Sapnap glances over at the calendar. “I’ll give you some time. Let’s say Valentine’s Day. We can have a little party, you can bring your date. Or, you can come alone and bring me a Benjamin.”
At the end of George’s first semester at college, he’s already fed up with his annoying, self-centred, arrogant classmate, Dream. But when his roommate talks him into a bet he can’t win, Dream might be the one person who can help him out.

“I’m–I’m sorry.” George mumbles an apology. “I didn’t know you were coming here, idiot. I–I–”
“So–so you told them we’re together?” Dream asks with a no bullshit tone. George’s eyes leave Dream’s, flitting to the pink elephant on his end table. “Why?”
“They–they were nagging me, Dream, and–and when I said I was dating someone and my mum assumed it was you…” George trails off with a shrug, scrunching his face at his own words. “I don’t know, Dream."
“But George,” Dream says his name with stress. “Now they think we’re together and we have to tell them the truth.”

Listen. Listen. George doesn’t have a type. He’s been asked about it constantly, stupidly invasive comments he doesn’t bother deleting because that would be giving them attention, and they all assume he likes women anyway, but he doesn’t.
But if he did. Well, tall blond and gorgeous is universal, really. Big golden eyes, a slightly lopsided smile, curly hair poking out from under a cat-eared beanie. He’s maybe the most beautiful man George has ever seen.
“Hi!” he greets, and of course his voice is equally as wonderful, sweet as honey. “You wanted to see the cats?”
“Um,” George says eloquently. He’d like to see a lot more than cats right now, but that’s not exactly an appropriate thought to be having about a man he’s just met. “Yeah. That’s why I’m here. For the cats.”
or, george gets a bit more than he bargained for when he goes looking for a kitten to fill his lonely life
