Hugo stopped breathing for a moment. He hadn't expected Lycaon to suddenly bring that up. It was a... painful memory for both of them, after all. And even more so for Lycaon.

When the famed reliable and unshakable wolf attendant of Victoria Housekeeping suddenly collapses mid-commission due to illness, even Hugo has to admit that something's wrong. Not that he cares, of course.
He just happens to show up. Just happens to bring medicine and food meticulously prepared for the needs of one sickly wolf. Just happens to stay the whole night.
It’s not like he’s worried.

Love love LOVE this so much the dynamics between them are so accurate of how I imagined them to be after being married for years. the part where goro tried to distract akira and then ending up having a little tongue twister competition is so *chefs kiss* THIS. IS. A. MASTERPIECE
plus sojiro's "teenagers do stupid things, that's why adults are meant to look out for them." IS SO........ THAT'S SO HIM this line got me hard esp of how the main driving force of P5's plot is because of irresponsible & rotten adults.
