Vi spun to face her, gauntlets appearing in a reddish-pink shimmer, metal forming to cover her hands and forearms. A large finger shoved in Caitlyn’s face. “You don’t know anything about my gauntlets.”
Just as easily, Caitlyn had replaced her tea with her gun, the metal's divine power singing against her skin. She used it to knock Vi’s hand away. “If you’re so confident in them, why not duel me?”

“You are not marrying someone else.” Caitlyn couldn’t say the words without scowling. “Your character isn’t even going to go through with it.”
“Only because someone interrupts.”
“She wouldn’t anyway. Everyone knows she’s in love with that someone.”
“Well, yeah." Filming would start soon, but for the moment, they could stand together in their own little bubble of peace amidst the chaos of the set. “She has your face. Who wouldn’t fall in love?”
