Their sleepy, half-lidded eyes met for just a moment; a spark in the air held between them. At once, Li Ming became acutely aware of their proximity — chest to chest, legs slotted and tangled between each other’s, heartbeats slowly adjusting into a synchronous rhythm.

It ended, as it had started, with a garden.
Crowley loved watering the plants. He loved being in the garden, glasses off. It made him vulnerable — his eyes being light-sensitive, on display for any odd passersby, but it also made the world just a little bit more colorful.
And as he toured around the garden, noting which plants needed extra fertilizer, or which fruit bush was due for a picking, Crowley found himself feeling a familiar background warmth that didn’t stop at the human level. He didn’t have to look behind him to know that Aziraphale was watching from the back porch.
He only had to feel it.

But the ringing is not gentle nor is it soft, not to Tanrak. It is deafening. It is loud and overbearing like the rage of a storm. Impossible thunder and flashes of blinding lightning. 150 days of rain, bringing the Great Flood to Tanrak’s mind.
The Angels are not speaking to him. They are yelling, frenzied bouts of angry spells. The Angels are warning him that something is coming.
