She had turned it into a dance, some treacherous part of himself had thought, watching as she glanced quickly to see that all who had opposed her were dead while she flicked blood off of her dagger tips with an elegant snap of the wrist with a renewed spike of arousal.

Ronan's heart gives one hard lurch, painful, before it settles again. He holds Gansey's eyes lazily.
"Why do you do this?" Gansey asks, a touch of bewilderment in his voice. "I don't understand, Ronan."
Neither do I, Ronan thinks. I find things in my dreams then I find them in my hands when I'm awake. He can't say this, so he doesn't say anything.
