IMPORTANT: Chapters 1-6 were originally posted as a series of one-shots, but they really only make sense when read in order, especially from Chapter 2 onwards. New chapters will be added here.
This story starts after the "Sweet Surrender" date (#35). From there it deviates from canon in *fairly* minor ways and dovetails with it in others (pending future MeChat updates, of course). The main difference here is that MC is a little older, maybe 22-25. If you're looking for some character rehab for MC, you're in the right place.
