Summary
Another huskerdust overlord Husk AU! I did my best to keep everyone somewhat in-character. I'm a Linguistics major so obviously Angel's accent is typed out with some lessening for readablility. Definitely a slowburn and there are some demons that aren't canon in the show for plot but also because Angel is sad so when I write him I gotta give him friends.

A-Yuan shrieked and Wei Ying couldn't reach these zombies, he'd run out of juice and he couldn’t catch his breath. The bike was barely upright, he couldn't keep it that way and use his sword at the same time, it was over.
He curled forward over A-Yuan and screwed his eyes shut to brace against the pain.
It didn't come. Something cool and clean rushed over his head and the zombie cries abruptly cut off.
In which Wei Ying is a necromancer in the middle of a zombie apocalpyse but that's only where he begins. Sometimes the darkest night brings the brightest dawn.

Someone else emerged from the water—a boy—pulling himself up onto the dock with both of his arms. He grinned and said something to the other two, but Lan Zhan couldn’t quite make it out; he was too distracted by flashes of bare, tanned shoulders, lean hips, and strong legs. The boy’s lips curved in a smile as he stood and shook the water from his ears. He looked to be around Jiang Cheng’s age, Lan Zhan guessed, not even twenty. He was beautiful, and Lan Zhan needed to stop staring, but instead his gaze drifted to the tattoo on his lower stomach, partially hidden by the waistband of his red swim trunks.
“Hi,” said the boy in a warm, smooth voice, turning his smile on Lan Zhan. “You must be the famous Lan Zhan.”
