“Latent omegas presentation is usually dependant on a specific alpha – an imprinting process not unlike newly hatched ducklings. On the wood of the table, Will’s hands clenched convulsively into fists.
“You took a child from me,” Will said finally, slowly uncurling his hands finger by finger. “You owe me a debt.”

Canon divergent in season two - after his release and after Chilton is captured, Will flees for three years, never gaining Hannibal’s trust, never plotting Jack’s murder or planning Hannibal’s entrapment, never betraying either of them.
But Will is an omega who can only have a child by the alpha he presented for - Hannibal. Which means returning and and mating with a man he knows is a serial killer and a cannibal.
