Nurse Iero is a fuckup. What else is new? But this fuckup deserves a special kind of punishment. And maybe in Ravencolm Hospital, servicing the prisoners in the adjoining penitentiary, he might find purpose again, maybe even peace. Turns out that's pretty fucking hard to do with a coworker like Gerard, with his inexplicable need to dress the way he does, and treat Frank like human flotsam. The rest of the town's creepy-ass denizens aren't helping, or the fact that it's in the middle of nowhere, without even a proper grocery store. Or maybe Frank just deserves to go through hell.

Summary
In the height of prohibition, Jotaro's place has finally been realised; killing a police officer and a traitor to their kind has wound him up the chain of command. Since childhood, his lineage had promised power, he had earned his position now, a role he had vied to have since eight. Underboss. One day Don, provided nothing got in the way.
But killing those men, was a streak of neatly aligned, luck-ridden circumstance. Now his grasp on power was in question. He had to cement his position, to make sure it was not his head knocked open against the pavement. For now he was only bestowed one establishment- a burlesque bar on the swept and rotting side of town. A freak-show, with which to prove his savvy nature, to ensure to his family he was domineering, deserving to be given such a title. There was little question whether this had all been set up, as an opposition to the luck he had been given in past; a challenge wrapped in a uniquely flawed appearance. One set-piece of his new property, was a ticking time-bomb.
Red, whom was infamous in his own right, and a man. Someone who called for a lot of attention, and encouraged a lot of trouble.
