Summary
Valarr felt the familiar, cold weight settle in his stomach. Maekar was the Anvil of House Targaryen, a man who rarely asked for help and never for company. There were few reasons his uncle would summon him at such an hour, and only one that involved such palpable panic from a messenger.
“Prince Aerion, my Prince. Lord Maekar... he—he told me to find you,” the boy stammered, confirming the suspicion before Valarr even had to voice it.
Valarr Targaryen had spent his life taming the wildfire of his cousin Aerion, hiding a forbidden devotion behind the gray mask of duty. But when the politics of the realm and the taunt of a hedge knight pushed Aerion to the brink of rebellion, the mask finally imploded. Between the cheers of a tourney and the silence of a royal bedchamber, can two dragons bind forever?

Summary
In 1874, the Targaryens live on a ranch called Red Keep in the Wild West. Folks around here know them for their ethereal beauty and their Dragons, untamable horses swift as prairie wind and loyal only to Targaryen hands. Valarr and Aerion are two young cowboys bound to that legacy. When the rest of the family rides out to town one day, they are left alone with one rare night to themselves.
"Love... go change. Please," Valarr rasped. His thumb brushed gently over Aerion's swollen red lips. "Put some clothes on and get decent, or I swear the last thing you'll be able to ride is me."

Summary
In the summer of 1982, under the scalding sun of a stifling season where cicadas wailed from the pines, Aerion Targaryen dropped to his knees in the scorched dirt of West Plains, Missouri, and screamed the air out of his lungs.
Following his father’s death, Valarr moves South to live with his uncle and cousins. It only gets worse from there.

Summary
Ridiculously enough, Maekar had believed that trusting Valarr to look after his son would prevent Aerion from inflicting further irreversible damage to their house.
And whilst he sought the man who’d left his second son in such a vulnerable position, he overlooked the known truth—Aerion never strayed too far from his cousin.
or, valarr and aerion have been fooling around for some time, they might’ve been able to keep it up longer had aerion not gotten pregnant.

Summary
Newly-crowned Valarr Targaryen is an alpha in bearing, if not in boast. Deft with the sword and quicker still with the quill. Soft-spoken in council yet iron-firm where it counts. However, a secret only the inner council is privy to reveals that, for reasons none dare name aloud, the King is incapable of taking an omega to mate.
Aerion returns from exile not long after the coronation, gone once with empty hands, only to come back burdened with a bastard child. And Valarr, who has sired no heirs of his own nor ever shown inclination to, finds himself inexplicably drawn to the child all the same.
