Summary
The ride to Derek’s loft was long and quiet. Two whole weeks had gone by since Kate took Scott and they were finally going to get him back. Stiles fingers drummed in nervous excitement against the steering wheel and Derek sat next to Stiles in the passenger seat. Derek’s face was made out of stone and his body was still, his hands resting on his thighs. Anyone else would have thought that Derek was calm, that he wasn’t nervous about meeting Kate again. Stiles knew better though.

Yuna’s entire body aches, and it would appear that her instincts were right— Rozanov is small, and he’s vulnerable, and he’s tired, and he needed somewhere safe to rest.
And Yuna can’t help the weird sense that she’s honoured— her home was somewhere for Rozanov to go, even if she and David knew nothing about any of it, even if they still don’t, Shane knew it would be safe for Rozanov here. Shane told him to come home.

“Did J.J. try to set you up with that guy?” Hayden asked.
Shane nodded, then frowned. "Why didn't you, like, discourage him?"
"That dude sounded perfect for you.” Hayden immediately held his hands up as outrage flashed across Shane’s features. “What? I just think you can do better!”
Shane’s mouth dropped open.
“For fuck’s sake, Hayden.”
Hayden laughed as he crossed the room and dropped down onto the bench beside him, nudging Shane’s arm with his elbow.
“I’m kidding. Mostly. Besides-”
Shane closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose.
“It’s not funny.”
“Hey,” Hayden said in a conciliatory tone, though there was no real apology in it. “Look. I fucking hate the guy, but if he’s what you want…”
The words chafed. It felt wrong, all wrong, like someone humoring a bad decision. Like of course Shane could do better, should want better. Like it was obvious.
Shane saw red.

OR Shane and Ilya Hollander-Rozanov are a lot of things, including bitchy gays. As they put up with less bullshit in married life, their petty side shows more. Never come between a professional ragebaiter and his bitch wife.
