Summary
Oscar arrives in North London with nothing and no one. A broken past, a pull-out mattress, and a name that gets him in more trouble than it’s worth.
He wasn’t supposed to stay. He wasn’t supposed to race. And he definitely wasn’t supposed to fall for the boy who sees everything but never lets anyone in.
But the streets don’t care what you’re supposed to do. And neither does Lando. -

Summary
This was the part where he was supposed to walk away. Shut it all down. Delete the alt account, torch the Twitter, chuck the phone in the minibar freezer, and go take another cold shower. Again. But instead, he accepted the request. Like a complete idiot. Like he didn’t have the impulse control of a wet napkin.
Christ. He was definitely thinking with his dick. There was absolutely no way this was going to end well.
OR The only thing faster than Oscar on track is the speed at which he gets folded in half once Lando finds out his secret.

Summary
Lando was late again, by exactly one minute.
Oscar glanced at his watch, then at him. “Late. We start tomorrow.”
That set Lando off immediately. He hissed under his breath, furious, but careful not to shout inside the library.
“By a fucking minute?!”
“Irresponsible,” Oscar said flatly, as if Lando’s outburst barely registered.
Or, Lando Norris, a fourth-year business management student and captain of the university’s soccer team, is one failure away from being benched, which could also jeopardize his graduation. Oscar Piastri, on the other hand, is a third-year medical student, top of his class, a certified nerd, and brilliant enough to tutor. A university scholar that tutors for the money.
Oscar is Lando’s tutor. Lando, used to getting away with everything, money, a stellar reputation, a name that opens doors, has never had to struggle to stay on top. Oscar despises people like him. He hates that someone can coast through life on charm and wealth while others, like him, have to work relentlessly for every scrap of success. Lando embodies everything Oscar loathes.

He tells himself that he’s protecting Oscar from his world. But as the doors close and Oscar is dragged into his world, Lando quickly realises that Oscar isn’t someone who would simply bow down to him.

But when two men enter the bakery, everything suddenly changes. Now? He's trapped in a mansion with the very type of people he studied; he must find a way to identify security weaknesses and learn more about Lando’s psychological triggers.
He’s not playing hard to get; he never wanted any of this in the first place. He has to get out of here, but it seems his mind and heart have different views as the lines between captor and protector blur.

There were several things that Lando knew for a fact. He knew that he loved playing volleyball, that he was a talented player and that he was going places – he would get into university with a scholarship in volleyball, even if he had to fight tooth and nail for it. These were all true, indisputable facts in Lando’s mind.
He also knew that he and Oscar Piastri were unspoken rivals, and that he hated the younger player with every fibre of his being.
