Hinata blinked slowly. “You can laugh..?"
“Obviously.” Kageyama said once he regained his breath, still battling with the smile lingering on his face. The unfamiliar warmth in his chest was a welcomed relief. It was like a small weight had been momentarily lifted off his shoulders. “Is that surprising?” He asked.
“A little. You’re so grumpy all the time.”
“I’m not grumpy.”
“Are too.” Hinata made a face, screwed-up pout. “You are right now.”
“Not.” Kageyama protested. He gingerly picked up the thermometer from the nightstand, shoving it into Hinata’s mouth to shut whatever rebuttal he was going to say up.
Or, Hinata is dramatic and sick. Kageyama is Kageyama.

It’s almost funny how insignificant Gabe had become. His once worse nightmare, the sound of a belt swinging and the burst of iron in his mouth, was little compared to the monsters and Titans he fought daily. Percy had stood face to face with Kronos, with Gaia, Gabe was nothing compared to them.
Yet - because there was always a yet - he could never fully shake the fear that came to him young. You would think that it would fade with time, with his muscles and skills and how honestly, Percy could kill a God these days.
But it never left him, it wouldn’t leave him.

Iwaizumi’s still staring at the note. Oikawa thanks anyone in the high heavens that he left the little confession—I think you have a nice smile ♡—anonymous, because he’s not sure he would be able to handle the scrutinizing glare Iwaizumi gives at the note directed at himself.
“Sooooooooo,” Oikawa draws out after the silence grows too much for him to bear. “What’s it say?” he asks again.
Iwaizumi’s stare finally lifts from the note and oh, wow, Oikawa definitely cannot handle such intensity from his ace directed at him off the court. He grins nervously as Iwaizumi squints at him, his eyes darting between Oikawa’s likely panicked expression and the note still in his hand, before closing his eyes and shaking his head.
“Iwa-chan…?”
“Nothing,” Iwaizumi interrupts gruffly before Oikawa can ask again. He folds the note back up again and slips it into his pocket. “It’s nothing.”
Oikawa’s grin falters.
“Nothing, huh…”

or, Oikawa not-so-sneakily leaves some love confessions for Iwaizumi and very much does not anticipate his reaction
