This is Debaser but with trans Billy. I personally consider this the true version.
Sometimes I just want to read stuff with people who have my anatomy and sometimes dysphoria kicks my ass, so I wanted to make a version of this for either occasion. Gonna do my best to update both at the same time moving forward.
Before, they were only as close as Billy let anyone get, but lately the distance between them has been shrinking. He’s not the kind of guy who likes to talk about himself. Mostly he listens, prods, collects, but never offers. He learned young that when you’ve got a brain like he does you can’t afford to tell people what you’re thinking or how you really feel. Stu isn’t one of those people though, Stu has to keep his thoughts secret too and now this is theirs to keep, between them.

The presence stares unblinkingly. Then he leans in very close. Frank stands his ground, but only because he’s positive his knees will give out if he tries to move.
“‘Whither shall I go from thy spirit?’” the presence says, hardly above a whisper. “‘Or whither shall I flee from thy presence?’”
If it wasn’t so deathly quiet, Frank wouldn’t be able to hear him at all. Heat settles in the pit of his stomach, a sickening hybrid of fear and something else entirely.
