Summary
Lucy Carlisle is a Jumper, someone with nearly limitless teleportation abilities. She had lived most of her teenage years on the run, until the Paladins finally caught up with her.
In the chaos of the fight, her abilities mutate and she Jumps not through space, but dimensions, to a reality where super heroes are an actual thing, and Jumpers and Paladins don’t exist. She lands in a filthy back alley in D.C., right into the path of the Winter Soldier immediately post the Fall of SHIELD.
Lucy is pretty sure he kidnapped her. But, with nothing in her old world to return to, and dangerously curious about her metal-armed captor, she decides she doesn’t really mind that much. A funny way to meet the love of your life, but since when are matters of the heart ever what we expect? Especially with him being a brainwashed, ex-soviet assassin and her being… her.
