She didn’t want to make him worry. She hates when he gets that way. So overbearing, so mean and impulsive. Just like Hopper. Just like every Alpha she has met.

“Will said something—” She started lying, under the big pressure of Mike's intense stare. She wonders that if she had a proper nose she would feel drowned by the bitter coffee scent flying around them. But it just bothers her now.
“Don't lie to me, El. You know I hate lies.”
