The realization arrives slowly and then all at once. "You kidnapped an NHL player because of gambling?"
"You say that like it's unreasonable."

The man shrugs. "Not with the amount of money involved."

Ilya is kidnapped after the All-Stars game to rig a bet in the hopes of making the Bears lose without him, and Ilya has to try his hardest to survive. Meanwhile, back in Florida, Shane is giving one too many fucks about the man that definitely is not his boyfriend and is having a hard time hiding his stress from the people around him. -
