Summary
In a world where supernatural creatures are known, but relatively rare, vampires are the top of the food chain. Werewolves tend to be seen as brutish animals. Chandler is a werewolf pretending to be a vampire. Veronica suspects this and tries to get close to the Heathers to find out. She ends up joining them on accident, and grows a bit too attached resulting in her outing herself as a werewolf. Things escalate from there.

Summary
When Duke was five, her best friend Veronica marked her even though that's impossible for kids. She hasn't seen Veronica since and that doesn't matter because her life is different now too. She's trans and she's got two new friends - Heather and Heather. Eventually that mark is going to catch up to her though.

Somehow the premise gets away from me and its a Heathers origin story featuring Trans!Duke and autistic!Chandler. Eventually the fic catches up with the original premise and is complicated by the fact that Veronica is also trans, but transmasc. (Also featuring my inability to think up names).
